Two fire department trailers available free 18.AUG.08 Two 24-feet by 40-feet mobile trailers are being offered free to persons who need them.
The trailers are being used by the Ramona Fire Department at Fire Station No. 82, 3410 Dye Road, but need to be moved to make way for station improvements that have been approved by the Ramona Municipal Water District Board.
Tentative time the trailers will be available for pickup is September. Max Laur, project manager for Davis & Adams Construction Inc. in charge of building a new operations center at the station, said the project is expected to begin in mid-September. Removal of the trailers is necessary to do the project.
Laur said there may be fire victims or others who would need a trailer. The trailers are in usable shape and are on wheels, he said.
Laur may be contacted for more information at 858-268-9831. - Copyright Ramona SentinelPeppers Unlimited recalls La Torre Jalapeno Nacho Slices 15.AUG.08 Peppers Unlimited Inc. of Fontana, Calif., is voluntarily recalling 580 cases of La Torre Jalapeno Nacho Slices because of possible product contamination caused by a chemical reaction between the product and the can potentially resulting in a swollen and/or ruptured container and significant off flavor.
