Crews work on RMWD valve replacement project

A crew works on a Ramona Municipal Water District valve replacement project at the intersection of San Vicente Road and Hanson Lane Thursday morning.

In February the water board approved a contract for the approximately $106,470 project that also included a valve replacement at Hanson and Keyes Road, already completed. The original valves at both intersections were installed in 1958, according to the water district.
