Education groups to host Substitute Teacher job fair

The North County Coastal Substitute Consortium and the San Diego County Office of Education are presenting an opportunity for current and potential substitute teachers, by hosting a Substitute Teacher Job Fair & Workshops event on Saturday, June 4.

This event will offer free educational workshops in classroom management, instructional strategies, professional best practices, and essential resume and interviewing skills, along with meet and greet opportunities with local school districts looking to recruit new candidates.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University of Phoenix San Diego Campus, 9645 Granite Ridge Drive, San Diego. Substitute teaching requires a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
