Ramona Valley Grill closes
Ramona Valley Grill closed its doors on Sunday, Sept. 20, as owners Don and Joyce Kohorst have sold the building and property, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page. There is no word on what the new owners have planned for the building at 344 Main St.
The Kohorsts built the restaurant in 1987, and opened it as a Sizzler restaurant the following year. They operated it for 12 years. Since 2000, the restaurant operation changed hands a few times and separated from the Sizzler chain to become Ramona Valley Grill.
Joyce Kohorst returned at the helm early this year when the lessee who was operating the restaurant became ill.
