2 Ramona wineries receive ‘Best of San Diego’ designation

The August issue of San Diego Magazine featured the magazine editors’ selections for “Best of San Diego,” and this year’s four winery selections included two from Ramona.

The top honors went to Mike and Aurora Kopp of Kohill Winery and Victor and Beth Edwards of Edwards Vineyard and Cellars.

The two Ramona wineries shared their wines at the magazine’s Best of San Diego 2015 Party held at Liberty Station. Both wineries poured samples for the 2,400 attendees at the sold-out event. Also pouring was a third Ramona winery, Barrel 1.

The Best of San Diego Party brought together the top restaurants, wineries and breweries for an evening of food and entertainment that featured unlimited tastings from celebrated chefs, sips from wineries and breweries, and cocktails made from premium spirits, reported the magazine.
