Tennessee Tech beats Cincinnati-Clermont 91-66

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Freshman Tre Hansbrough returned to the lineup after being held out two games and scored a season-high 19 points as Tennessee Tech defeated Cincinnati-Clermont 91-66 Saturday.

Mason Ramsey added a career-high 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting as the Golden Eagles (4-2) never trailed. The trio of Ryan Martin, Anthony Morse and Markell Henderson each scored 11 points for Tennessee Tech. Morse blocked three shots and Martin grabbed seven rebounds.

Dorian Henry and Roderick Avery each scored 17 points to lead Cincinnati-Clermont, which plays in the USCAA.

The Golden Eagles built a 15-3 lead on a layup by Aleksa Jugovic, and led 43-26 at halftime. Morse’s three blocks put him in Tennessee Tech’s top 10 for career blocks with 66.

The Golden Eagles opened the second half on a 15-5 run and led by as many as 33 points, 75-42, with 8:18 left to play.
