Officials arrest suspect, 64, in bank robbery

(CNS) — Authorities have arrested a 64-year-old man suspected of holding up a Ramona bank. Timothy Graham was arrested around 11 a.m. Friday near the 1400 block of Hanson Lane in Ramona, according to police. He was booked into the San Diego Central Jail and is being held on $100,000 bail for suspicion of robbery.

At about 11:15 a.m. Thursday, Graham allegedly passed a demand note to a teller at the Bank of America at 1407 Main St. and raised his shirt to reveal what appeared to be the handle of a pistol, according to the county sheriff’s department and the FBI.

The man was given an undisclosed amount of money and walked away, FBI Special Agent Darrell Foxworth said.

Foxworth said, thanks to the circulation of Graham’s photos by local media outlets, multiple calls were received by Crime Stoppers that assisted with the arrest. The photos were captured by bank surveillance cameras at the time of the robbery.

Graham was scheduled to be arraigned this week.
