Firefighters stop spread of wildland fire in Ramona

Cal Fire reports that firefighters have stopped the spread of a wildland fire in the Highland Valley area of Ramona.

The report of a one-acre wildland fire at Highland Valley Road and Vorhees Lane came at 12:14 p.m. today, according to the California Highway Patrol website.

No structures were threatened and, according to the Twitter from Cal Fire about 12:45 p.m., firefighters had stopped the spread of the fire.
