County auctions surplus vehicles

Hundreds of surplus vehicles, including automobiles and heavy equipment from the county and other agencies are on the online auction block. Bidding ends at 1 p.m. Monday, May 11.

Public previews of many of the vehicles will be held in Ramona at 369 Main St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 9, and 8 a.m. to noon Monday, May 11.

TNT Auction Company opened the online bidding on Monday with many bids starting at $100.

Among the vehicles in the auction are: a 2008 Toyota Prius Hybrid, 2007 Honda Odyssey Van, 2008 Toyota Tundra, 2008 Ford Taurus sedans, 2007 Dodge Charger, 2008 Toyota Camry, 2008 Ford Fusion Sedans, 2007 Ford Expedition Patrol 4X4, 2008 Ford E250 and E350 cargo vans, 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid and 2002 through 2009 Ford Crown Victoria patrol cars.

Other vehicles include: a 2003 Apple utility trailer, 2000 Freightliner FL70 dump truck/PB loader, 2007 BMW motorcycle, 2001 Ford F550 utility truck and Ford Pierce fire trucks.
