Ramona Tea’d to address Common Core program

Dr. Duke Pesta will be the speaker when Ramona Tea’d addresses the Common Core program at its meeting on Saturday, March 28.

“Please join Ramona Tea’d for a special presentation exposing the truth about Common Core and the ongoing struggle to turn back its implementation,” Ramona Tea’d member Darrell Beck stated in his announcement of the meeting. “Learn how Common Core is the latest and most comprehensive step by the left in their drive toward complete government control of our children’s education. Learn how Common Core threatens to further undermine, weaken and centralize public and private education in America.”

Pesta, an educator and lecturer, teaches English at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and is academic director of Freedom Project Education.

The meeting will be in Ramona Mainstage, 626 Main St. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the program will begin at noon. Because seating is limited, attendees are advised to arrive early.

Food and drinks will be available.
