Commitment to Ramona schools

Share

Shelly Heimer, businesswoman and Ramona High School Class of 1993 graduate, has made a commitment to Ramona schools, as evidenced on her billboard off Route 67 west of town center.

Heimer, mortgage loan officer and sales manager for W.J. Bradley Mortgage Capital LLC at 311 12th St., donates $100 for every loan she closes to Friends of Ramona Unified Schools (FORUS) for health and safety projects at the schools.

Based on the loans she closed in February, she donated $700 this month.

A mother whose three daughters attend elementary school in Ramona, her donations go to deferred maintenance projects at the schools.

Watch for her new billboard scheduled to go up in Old Town Ramona on Tuesday, March 24.

FORUS, a nonprofit organization, meets the first and third Wednesday of each month in Room A-3 at Olive Peirce Middle School.
