New traffic signal goes up

Gustavo Grijalva with Perry Electric helps to maneuver a traffic signal pole at the southeast corner of H and 10 streets on Thursday. County Department of Public Works is adding a traffic signal to the intersection, where numerous collisions have occurred, to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians. The signal will be timed with other signals on 10th Street/San Vicente Road. The county expects to have the signal operational in two to three weeks.
