Mobile Pantry coming to Ramona once a month

Starting Jan. 15, Ramona Food & Clothes Closet will distribute free groceries through Feeding America San Diego’s Mobile Pantry Program on the third Thursday of every month.

The food, open to all persons age 18 and older, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9 a.m. Distribution will be 20 to 25 pounds of fresh produce and staple items per family.

“You pick what you need,” states an information flier.

Those receiving the food should bring their own bags or box.

Ramona Food & Clothes Closet is at 773 Main St.
