A call for support for Light of the Lamb Ministry

Share

Brothers and sisters of Ramona,

Light of the Lamb Ministry is in need of our help. Due to a large amount of confusion and the “powers that be,” this ministry is facing the possibility of being forced to shut down.

This plea is not pointing any fingers nor is it wanting to cause any offense with ANYBODY here in town. In fact, quite the opposite.

We need your help showing our elected officials that Light of the Lamb has had and is still having a positive impact on families and individuals of our town.

This ministry provides temporary shelter and resources to the homeless, including seniors and veterans. They also have weekly community dinners and outreach programs like food distribution, clothing and blankets for those in need, and several other outreach programs.

If you happen to recall these things helping your friends and or family in the past or present, it would be very much appreciated if you would please attend Diane Jacob’s meeting Friday in Town Hall on Main Street. This meeting will be held on Feb. 27 at 8:30 a.m. You will be given an opportunity to speak and let one and all know what the assistance you have received from this ministry has meant to you and your family.

Thankfully, Ms. Jacobs has recognized the positive impact that this ministry has had and will continue to have on our little town. We pray she too will see that this little church is a light shining in this town for restoration, hope and the spiritual needs of our community, as well as much needed emergency relief.

The challenge of taking care of Ramona is just a small part of what has been the joy of this ministry.

Thank you and see you there.
