New stoplight operates at 10th and H streets

The driver of a red car gets a green light to make a left-hand turn from H Street onto 10th Street while vehicles stop for a red light on southbound 10th Street. The new traffic signal at 10th and H streets became operational on Thursday and is supposed to be timed with other signals on 10th Street/San Vicente Road. County Department of Public Works decided to install a signal at the intersection to improve safety for drivers and pedestrians.
