A family of three was displaced early Monday after their Ramona home was destroyed by a fire, officials said.

The blaze was reported just before midnight at the home on Pala Street near Kelly Avenue. When crews arrived the fire was well involved and crews had it knocked down in about 15 minutes, said Cal Fire Capt. Kendal Bortisser.

Damage was estimated at $320,000. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

A woman and two children were assisted by Red Cross, Bortisser said.
