San Vicente Saddle Club Poker Ride is Saturday

Equestrians will take to the trails for San Vicente Valley Club’s annual Poker Ride fundraiser that will start at the International Equestrian Center, 16911 Gunn Stage Road, on Saturday, April 25.

Check-in will be at 8:30 a.m., and the first group will ride out at 9:30 a.m. Different groups of varying skills and speed will ride and those planning to participate should arrive early.

In addition to trail riding, the annual event features a catered lunch, opportunity drawing prizes, a silent auction and cash for a winning poker hand.

Day-of-the-event registration is $55 and depends on space available. Information about advance registration is at 760-788-8385 and www.sanvicentesaddleclub.com.

Registration includes lunch, two drawing tickets and one poker hand.

Additional tickets for prizes, poker hands and lunches for non-riders may also be purchased.

Riders under age 18 must wear a helmet, no bareback riding is permitted, and “ponied horses” are not allowed with the groups. A release form required for all participants will be available at the event.
