After two league matches last week, the Ramona High School boys golf team remained undefeated in the Valley League.

Two more league matches were scheduled for this week: at Fallbrook on April 14 and against Oceanside on April 16.

Coach Michael Gainey said of the Fallbrook match: “From what I’ve been hearing from other coaches in our league, this will be one of our toughest matches of the season.”

Sophomore Justin Graf continues to garner medalist honors. In the 199-303 win against Orange Glen April 7 at San Vicente Golf Course, Graf was the low scorer with a par 36.

“The team continues to play well and the scores in league play are showing it,” said Gainey.

April 8 saw a home match against league opponent Valley Center. In the 201-211 Ramona victory, Graf shared medalist honors with teammate David Hall. Both shot 68.

“Justin is consistently bringing in low scores and is working hard to maintain his No.1 spot on the team,” said Gainey.

The Bulldog golf team was also scheduled to play a non-league match at home against Steele Canyon on April 15.
