Ramona Senior Center menu, activities

Ramona Senior Activity Center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals also are delivered to the homebound.

Suggested lunch donation for seniors age 60 and older and for the homebound is $4. Transportation is $1. Lunch for a non-senior guest of a senior is $6. For reservations and more information, call 760-789-0440.

Thursday, Oct. 16:

Turkey loaf, California vegetables, scalloped potatoes, bread pudding.

Friday, Oct. 17:

Birthday lunch of oven fried chicken, chuckwagon corn, mashed potatoes, cake and fruit.

Monday, Oct. 20:

Meat lasagna, Italian vegetables, garlic bread, peaches.

Tuesday, Oct. 21:

Chili with meat, cheese and onion, salad, cornbread, fruited Jello.

Wednesday, Oct. 22:

Pasta crab salad, carrot raisin salad, crackers, grapes.

Thursday, Oct. 23:

Ham and cherry sauce, green beans, sweet potatoes, peaches.

Friday, Oct. 24:

Chicken patties, California vegetables, mashed potatoes, ambrosia.

Machine embroidery at 9 a.m., Tai Chi at 9 a.m., Bingo at 1 p.m.

Friday, Oct. 17:

Exercise at 9 a.m. Pinochle at 9 a.m., Seniors Empowering Seniors at 10 a.m., Pokeno at 1 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 20:

exercise at 9 a.m., Lace/Crochet at 9 a.m., Nutrition at 1 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 21:

Walking Group at 8 a.m., Quilting at 9 a.m., Yoga at 9 a.m., Writers group at 1 p.m. Legal assistance by appointment.

Wednesday, Oct. 22:

Exercise at 9 a.m., Pinochle at 9 a.m., Get Happy with Adiel Garcia at 10 a.m., Bridge at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 23:
