Mural boosters prepare for golf tournament, dinner and auction fundraiser

Stephanie Norvell, organizer of the H.E.A.R.T. Mural Golf Tournament at San Vicente Golf Course on Saturday, arranges some of the silent auction items that will be available for bid at the fundraiser.

The event includes the golf tournament followed by dinner and live and silent auctions.

Proceeds will go to the San Diego Country Estates Association mural planned for 10th and D streets. The mural will depict Ramona’s rural lifestyle with hiking, riding, golf, tennis and scenic views.

Check-in at San Vicente Golf Course, 24157 San Vicente Road, will be at 11 a.m. for a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Not a golfer? Dinner is $25 and provides the opportunity to bid on the auction items. A featured auction item is a mini-mural that Ramona artist Linda Kelly painted on a wine barrel.
