School board workshop today targets bond
Monday, June 16—
Ramona Unified School District trustees will hold a special meeting this afternoon at 2 to discuss specifics of a potential bond measure on the November 2014 ballot.
“With the anticipation of placing a school improvement measure on the November 2014 ballot, members of the governing board have requested more time to fully explore all available options for a potential general obligation bond,” the board agenda reads. “During this workshop session, board members will be asking questions and sharing viewpoints about bond capacity, COP payments, project lists, and the recent community survey. The board is expected to use this opportunity to give staff members specific direction in developing a final proposal for board consideration.”
