Boys 3rd/4th GradeDivision

Chase Newman

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESChase Newman is a second-grader at Mt. Woodson. His favorite subject is math. Chase is super competitive on the basketball court. His dream would be to play college basketball at BYU, SDSU or Duke. If he could go anywhere, he would go to a college football game or basketball game.

Girls 3rd/4th/5th Grade Division

Sarah Sommers

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESSarah Sommers, 9, is a fourth-grader at Ramona Community School. She is an outstanding student who loves completing her work early so she can mentor other kids with their studies. Sarah loves to sing and put on homemade plays. This is her second season playing basketball.

Boys 5th/6th GradeDivision

Colin Nungesser

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESColin Nungesser, 10, is a fifth-grader at Barnett Elementary. Colin is an excellent student. He has been playing Pop Warner Football for three years and basketball for four years. Colin is excellent at sports, art, building things and loves the outdoors.

Girls 6th/7th/8th Grade Division

Helena Brown

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESHelena Brown, 12, is in the seventh grade. She is homeschooled, and is doing an in-depth study on her favorite subject, science. Helena attends CrossFit and Kenpo Karate. This is her first year of basketball.

Boys 7th/8th GradeDivision

Derek Newman

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESDerek Newman is in seventh grade at Olive Peirce Middle School. His favorite class is math. Derek has two brothers and a sister and enjoys going up to visit family in Utah. He would love to be 6’6” and play basketball at BYU or UNC.
