Ramonans were among the estimated 3,000 constituents who attended District 36 Sen. Joel Anderson’s Holiday Legislative Open House in El Cajon.

Representing the chamber at the Dec. 10 event were Ramona Chamber of Commerce president-elect Robert Krysak and first vice president-elect Sally Westbrook.

Ramonans Arvie and John Degenfelder shared a folder of information about Old Survey Road 97 with District 2 San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob and Anderson. The Degenfelders are campaigning for historic designation for the road, which goes from San Pasqual Valley to Rangeland Road in Ramona.

Among other Ramonans at the party, where guests received a 2014 legislative update, were Ramona Unified School District trustees Dawn Perfect and John Rajcic, Ramona Municipal Water District directors Darrell Beck and Arnie Cares, and Ramona Town Hall trustees Bob Hailey and Sandee Salvatore with her husband, Jim.
