Gas price drops to lowest price since January

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped to its lowest amount since Jan. 29 Monday, decreasing four-tenths of a cent to $3.783.

The average price has decreased for 32 of the past 33 days and is 3.1 cents less than one week ago, 22 cents lower than one month ago and 66.3 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price dropped 26 consecutive days, was unchanged Tuesday, then resumed dropping the next day. It decreased one-tenth of a cent on Sunday.
