When did our elected servants become our masters? Do we dare say dictators?

Who asked them to govern out their visual agenda rather than serve our needs while using our money to do so?

Some would say the elected have gone to “cash in” rather than “serve.” We know they didn’t lose pay money during this time.

Why have most of the elected failed to uphold our U.S. Constitution and those few who are trying to so do are being demonized and vilified, through the media, by their own party(s)?

Where are our elected now? Why aren’t they communicating with “we the people?” Are they hiding in hopes they will be re-elected if they say nothing?

Are you, or a loved one, feeling the hurt these elected have put upon us? Or hasn’t your ox been gored yet?

Are you feeling like a voter without a party to vote for?

Are you watching the destruction of our country and our state, day by day, and feeling like a refugee trying to figure out which state to move to to survive your final years? California corporations have it figured, moved out and continue to leave us behind. Last one here, turn out the lights?

When did illegal become legal?

When did wrong become right and right become wrong?

Why are the irresponsible being rewarded with our responsible money?

What are we becoming?

Gov. Jerry Brown just signed one of eight laws, one giving all illegal Californians a driver’s license, effective by 2015. Just in time for Presidential Election 2016. A mere coincidence. Another law gives illegals the right to practice law in California, and yet another of the eight prohibits law enforcement from detaining immigrants in the country illegally. Huh?

Shameful how the administration put on more security guards to keep our World War II veterans away from the D.C. memorial, two more guards than were on duty when Benghazi was attacked and our ambassador and others were killed. As was stated, “If it wasn’t for those WWII veterans, we would all be speaking German.”

As of last Wednesday, the administration closed all the military commissaries/grocery stores, so that our military families can not get food for their families while their husbands go fight the wars. Keep in mind, a lot of our military live on the bases across the country and there are many challenges there, too.

Yet the White House chefs were retained to feed the president, family and mommy-in-law who have lived in the White Housesince 2008. So nice to see our hard-earned tax $$$ put to use.

Recently, the president and family returned from one of the countless vacations, their $100 million vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, where it was necessary for them to fly the family dog in a separate helo. It’s so much more fun when you’re spending someone else’s money while destroying so many jobs, lives, etc. Remember, gas was less than $2 a gallon in mid-2008.

For those of us in San Diego, the administration completely closing our annual Miramar air show was even more shameful. For those who may not know, that particular air show was put on by sponsors, and made money, which was then deposited back into the military community fund for the military.

Shameful what this president is allowing rather than stopping it with one of his executive orders.

Oh, that’s right. It’s all about blaming the Republicans.

As a military wife for my husband’s 32 years of active duty — thank you Richard for your service — and as the San Diego County chair for Ross Perot’s United We Stand campaign, I say — wake up. Stay informed, stay involved, and for your own sakes, speak up and out. God bless America. Long may she stand.
