Ramona Mitey Dawgs remain undefeated

The Ramona Mitey Dawgs took their sixth straight win when they beat the Rancho Bernardo Broncos 26-0 score at RB’s home stadium.

The team held its winning streak with Colin Nungesser catching a pass and running for an 80-yard touchdown. Josiah Bowman secured two touchdowns and Cole Mattson made several successful catches that led to one final touchdown for the Mitey Dawgs. Gabriel Muñoz kicked a successful field goal to give the Dawgs 2 extra points.

The win added to the team’s excitement as it was asked to play at a USD college football game at half-time following the game in Rancho Bernardo. As the players stepped on the college football field, the team’s name and undefeated record were announced to the stadium and cheers were heard as the team scrimmaged.

The USD football players, spirit team and college referees high-fived and patted the backs of the Mitey Dawgs as they exited the field at the end of the halftime.
