Mitey Dawgs achieve 5th consecutive win

The Ramona Mitey Dawgs football team won its fifth straight game, beating Escondido Brave Wolves 30-0.

The Mitey Dawgs’ offense completed many pass plays made by Peyton Silva and Brayden Nungesser. The immediate lead secured by the Dawgs, allowed for many different combinations of players to get their turn at different positions.

The defense had strong tackles made by Kai Hofstee, Garrett Pekelder, Jayden Lewis, Jason Jones, Mason Wrenn, Silva, Chance Mattson, Brayden Nungesser, Gabriel Lutz, Cole Mattson, Gabriel Muñoz and Colin Nungesser.

Offensive Coordinator Coach Adam Nungesser swapped up players and said he was thrilled to watch Zach Williams, Randy Lozano, Kai Hofstee, and Carter Larzalere each handle the ball and gain yards for the Mitey Dawgs.

The four touchdowns were made by Josiah Bowman, Lutz, Chance Mattson and Jayden Abdou. The coordination of teamwork, dedication and enthusiasm of this team is infectious, said the coaches.
