You won’t want to miss the 31st annual Home Tour set for Saturday, May 11.

Four uniquely different homes will be open for viewing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located throughout Ramona, the homes include:

•The historic 1886 Verlaque House at the Guy B. Woodward Museum with a display of Depression glass and antique quilts in the Barnett Barn;

•Failla Villa, with a putting green, grass tennis court and more, boasts a fabulous view;

•The Angus home also has a spectacular view, an elevator and a theater room and several built-in works of art using existing rock trees from the property; and

•The two-story Failla home, which sits in a park-like setting with a simple elegance and comfort perfect for a busy family.

A bake sale and the popular Collectibles Corner take place at the San Vicente Resort from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with arts and crafts and vendors selling their wares in the front parking lot.

The No Host Luncheon & Chic Boutique Fashion Show starts at 12:30 p.m. in the Oaks Grille (reservations and seating by 12:15 p.m. are suggested). Show coordinator Joyce Whelehon said, “I made a special trip to the L. A. Garment District to select the latest name brand fashion separates.”

“I will have a great selection of jackets and tops priced at 50 to 75 percent off retail prices of what you’d expect to pay at Macy’s or comparable stores,” she added.

Home Tour tickets are $10, and opportunity tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

“Thanks to our generous donors we have nine different opportunity baskets filled with delightful goodies,” said Linda Knowles, home tour chair.

Tickets will be available in the lobby at the San Vicente Resort, 24157 San Vicente Road, on the day of the event, ending in a drawing at 4:30 p.m.

Proceeds will go to scholarships and community projects.
