FreeSTUFF or FreeDOM?

Darrell Beck’s guest editorial was right on the mark, very well-written and unfortunately all too true.

Indeed, he’s right. The federal “liberal” government appears to have built an unstoppable coalition of single-issue voters (gay rights, abortionists, illegal immigrants, and those who vote only “color”), plus the near majority of all those who live on free “federal largess.” The State of California appears leading the inevitable trend. That will not change.

Those of us old enough to remember the freedoms, the opportunities, the morals and the protections from 50 years ago can only lament the passing of the wonderful two-century success of the American Dream.

We did live it. It is no more, and will not be again. Accept it.

It cannot last as it is today. There is simply not enough borrowable or printable money for our federal and state governments to continue to feed, house, educate, and provide health services to everyone who walks into the country. Nor are there enough resources as we leave our oil in the earth, burn our nation’s food in our cars, close our coal and nuclear plants for inefficient “green power,” and squander billions on grants to unfriendly nations.

We conservatives can holler, write, complain, shout, and support the Tea Party, but we’ll lose in the end. There are too few of us.

Don’t lament. Accept it as it (inevitably) is. Support your local conservative leaders. Be vocal with your children on “real values,” and let’s do all we can to at least keep a brake on runaway liberalism by ensuring we keep a conservative Congress in ’14.

Repeating the famous toast of Naval Captain and Patriot Stephen Decatur in 1804: “My Country, right or wrong, My Country.”

RamonaBusinesses help students get to campThe sixth grade students of Ramona Elementary School would like to thank all of the parents and community members who helped to make our enchilada dinner fundraiser on Friday, March 8, a success. We would like to thank the following restaurants for donating enchiladas: El Michoacan, La Cocina, Casa Reveles, Mariscos Mar de Cortez, and Los Amigos. Sombreros donated all of the rice and beans, and Mi Ranchito gave us the chips and salsa. In addition, we received generous prizes for our silent auction from these local businesses: El Michoacan Restaurant, Pizza Hut, Ramona Beauty Supply & Salon, and Mamma Rosa’s Italian Restaurant. We’d also like to thank DJ Abarca for providing the music that evening. Thanks to the support of these generous sponsors, we were able to raise $2,600 to provide scholarships so that all of our students have the opportunity to attend sixth grade camp.

Ramona Elementary SchoolDecisions indicate lawless governmentThe president has appointed John Brennan to the CIA and he has perfect qualifications for the job supporting war crimes and human rights abuses in the past, which is just another clear indication that America is being run by a fascist, lawless government and is incapable of selecting people who believe in the U.S. Constitution, the rule of law, and truth and justice. The U.S. government has also stated that it has the right to murder American citizens on American soil with drone attacks which clearly indicates the need for another American Revolution.
