Hall of Champions recognizes Christian Rajcic

The San Diego Hall of Champions honored its 2012 Star of the Month recipients, including Christian Rajcic, at the 67th annual Salute to the Champions banquet at the Town and Country Hotel in San Diego on Feb. 25.

Rajcic, who is now at the University of Laverne, was a Mountain Valley Academy senior and on Ramona High School’s golf team when he was honored as a Prep Star of the Month for April 2012. He was the medalist, or the individual with the lowest nine-hole score, in five of Ramona’s matches that month. In two of those matches he had scores of 33, or three under par for nine holes, on the San Vicente Golf Course, which the Bulldogs use for their home matches.

Rajcic played 11 high school rounds in April 2012, and shot under par in six of those. He concluded the season with an under par average.
