School district schedules Spring Open House dates

Spring open houses at Ramona public schools will start with a Bulldawg Expo at Ramona High School, 1401 Hanson Lane, on Thursday, March 7, at 6 p.m.

Unlike a traditional open house, Bulldawg Expo is designed for parents of incoming ninth-graders.

Also on the Open House calendar are:

•Montecito High, 720 Ninth St., Thursday, April 11, 6 p.m.

•Ramona Elementary, 415 Eighth St., Thursday, April 25. PTA meeting will begin at 6 p.m. Classroom visits at 6:30 p.m.

•Olive Peirce Middle School, 1521 Hanson Lane, Thursday, May 2, 6 p.m. Camp Peirce for parents of incoming seventh-graders.

•Ramona Community School, 1010 Ramona St., Tuesday, May 21, 6 p.m. A showcase of the school year titled “Children’s Night” will be held in lieu of a traditional open house.

•James Dukes Elementary, 24908 Abalar Way, Wednesday, May 22, 5:30 p.m.

•Barnett Elementary, 23925 Couna Way, Thursday, May 23. PTA Awards meeting at 5:30 p.m. on the lawn outside the cafeteria. Classroom visits at 6 p.m.

•Hanson Elementary, 2520 Boundary Ave. Barbecue at 5:30 p.m., PTA meeting at 6:30 p.m., classroom visits from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m.

•Mt. Woodson Elementary, 17427 Archie Moore Road, 6 p.m.
