Gunners and Junior Gunners FC soccer registration opens

There is still time to register for Ramona Futbol Club’s Gunners and Junior Gunners Recreational Soccer League.

Ramona FC’s recreational program will keep with the trend of European Youth Soccer, where the youth play small sided games to learn how to develop their fundamental foot skills and game strategy. Ramona FC is geared toward teaching the players how to grow in the sport to the best of their abilities, and to continue to grow to be able to transition to play at a competitive level.

High school age players will work on skill, strategy, stamina and strength in the game to help as they enter into the high school soccer program, to college, and beyond if they wish.

Registration will be Saturday and Sunday, July 27 and 28, in front of Kmart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost of $85 includes Tuesday skill clinics by professional coaches, Thursday team training, Saturday games, a team shirt, and a 12-game season beginning Saturday, Aug. 3, and ending Oct. 26.
