Kiwanis donates $1,000 to robotics club and $500 to a prospective Eagle Scout

Ramona Kiwanis Club assists two youth projects with donations of $1,000 to the Ramona High School Neo-Tech Robotics Club and $500 to a prospective Eagle Scout during a recent club breakfast meeting.  Above, club president Kevin Bell, left, presents an oversized check for $1,000 to Ramona High School Neo-Tech Robotics Club students Joe Jennings and Emanuel Mora and club adviser and RHS teacher Richard Waters. Kevin Bell presents a check for $500 to Mark Stemper of Scout Troop 130. Stemper plans to use the money to build a chicken coop, which will be stocked with chickens, at the Ramona Adult Day Care Center. The center will use eggs from the chickens in its menu for its clients.
