Emergency crews respond to accident, car fire

Emergency crews are responding to two incidents in the area — an accident near Highland Valley and Wyneland roads, and a car fire near Santa Ysabel.

California Highway Patrol reports a person has a minor injury from the accident involving an SUV and a motorcycle. The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m.

The car fire at State Route 78 and Cabrillo Street was reported around 10 a.m.
