Kiwanis Student of Month

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERARamona Kiwanis Club member Bob Hailey presented a plaque to fourth-grader Eddie Solis that identifies him as “Student of the Month” for March at the Kiwanis breakfast meeting on Saturday. Ramona Elementary School teacher Debbie Long received a plaque that will be placed in the school lobby. The plaque includes names of all past honorees as well as Eddie’s name. Long said she selected Eddie because of “his attitude, work habits, and always wants to do better.” Eddie’s parents, Edwardo and Gabriella Solis, witnessed the presentation.
