Senior Activity Center

Ramona Senior Activity Center is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., except for legal holidays, in Ramona Community Center at 434 Aqua Lane. It will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 22 and 23, for Thanksgiving.

Dinner-style meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Meals also are delivered to the homebound.

Suggested lunch donation for seniors age 60 and older and for homebound is $4. Transportation is $1. Lunch for a non-senior guest of a senior is $6. For reservations and more information, call 760-789-0440.

Wednesday, Nov. 28: Honey mustard chicken, mashed potatoes, Malibu vegetables, strawberries and whipped cream.

Thursday, Nov. 29: Beef stew, homemade biscuits, blueberry crisp.

Friday, Nov. 30: Chicken fajitas, Mexican rice, refried beans, fruit cocktail.

Wednesday, Nov. 28: Exercise at 9 a.m., Pinochle at 9 a.m., Bridge at 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 29: Bingo at 1 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 30: Exercise at 9 a.m., Pinochle at 9 a.m., Pokeno at 1 p.m.

The pool table may be used any time except during Bargain Corner, and a Wii game is available.
