Heading for the hills

Share

These Ramona turkeys seem to be on a mission — to hustle away from humans during Thanksgiving Week? This rafter of wild turkeys, seen in a San Diego Country Estates neighborhood in recent weeks, hasn’t been spotted the past few days, neighbors noted on Tuesday. Once known as The Turkey Capital of the World, Ramona now is home to wild turkeys who appear to enjoy feeding on grasses, berries, nuts, and insects. Residents look for their return to the neighborhood after the Thanksgiving holiday.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
