Celebrating Marine Corps’ 237th Birthday
Ramona Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3783 celebrates the 237th birthday of the U.S, Marine Corps on Saturday, Nov. 10. U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Bob Darron (retired), left, serves as the master of ceremonies. As is custom, U.S. Marine 1st Sgt. Normand Brabant (retired), the oldest Marine present, passed a slice of cake to U.S. Marine Cpl. Eric Southern, the youngest Marine present, to symbolize the passing of history and tradition to the next generation. Southern is on active duty.
