The Bulldog tennis team ended its season by competing in the Palomar League Individual and Doubles Tournaments.

The Palomar League is known as the toughest tennis league in the San Diego section of CIF and possibly in the state.

The doubles team of John Shupe and Tyler McDonald advanced to the second round of the doubles tournament. Shupe and McDonald served their final bagel of the season by beating Wade and Yi of Mount Carmel 6-1 and 6-0 before falling to Eck and Levie of Torrey Pines 6-2 and 6-1.

Jack Melleker and Joey Guzzino fell to Pietrzyk and Agatep of Rancho Bernardo 6-1 and 6-0. Chad Martin and Nick Peterson were eliminated by Amuja and Ahuja of Rancho Bernardo 6-2 and 6-2.

In individual action Christian Failla gave it a go but was battling an injury to his rib cage. Failla lost to Kawy Yusuf of Mt. Carmel after he had to withdraw due to an injury after losing 6-0 in the opening set.

Daniel Streeter fell to Andrew Burt of Poway 6-1 and 6-3. Scotty Barber lost to Brandon Chao of Westview 6-0 and 6-0.

No Bulldogs will advance to the CIF Individual and Doubles Tournament.
