Fundraiser to support RHS wrestling team

Ramona High School wrestling team will hold a fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 26, in Da Tuna Shack.

“Come help support your Ramona High School 2012 CIF Division 3 champions,” said Launa Adair, mother of RHS wrestler Vince Adair.

Launa Adair said those who come in to order food should mention they are supporting the wrestling team and a percentage of their bill will go to the team.

The CIF champs are trying to raise money for such items as new mats, new wrestling singlets, and tournament fees, she said.

Although the high school wrestling season is over, Adair said the wrestlers will begin their off-season practice soon and many of them will attend wrestling camps.
