Summer Glen Ranch has been owned by Anna Merino since 1988. Merino has 20 rescue horses that were either abandoned, neglected or saved from slaughterhouses.

Breeds include Arabs, Belgium drafts, saddlebreds and thoroughbreds.

The goal of the rescue is to maintain the health of the horses and prevent them from being forgotten or destroyed.

Diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy that is progressing, Merino is accepting community volunteer ranch chore work, horse sponsorship of $109 a month and donations of any kind.
