Eli Stein earns Eagle Scout rank

Boy Scout Troop 130 of First Congregational Church recently welcomed another Eagle Scout into its ranks.

Eli Stein celebrated earning his Eagle Scout rank at his Eagle Court of Honor with approximately 40 friends and family.

His Eagle project was planning, building, and installing six park benches for the inner courtyard of Ramona Elementary School. The benches were placed around newly planted trees and are being enjoyed by teachers, parents and students, reports Patty Andrews, Troop 130 committee chair.
