Carnival games and rides, contests, vendor variety, country fair food, a beer and wine garden, and Ramona Idol hopefuls will provide four days of old-fashioned summer fun for all ages at the 42nd Annual Ramona Country Fair.

Presented by Ramona Chamber of Commerce, the fair will be on the Ramona Outdoor Community Center grounds at 421 Aqua Lane from July 26 through 29. Admission to the fair is free, but parking is $5 per vehicle, with proceeds going to the community groups that provide parking attendants and other parking volunteers.

Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. July 26 and 27, noon to 11 p.m. July 28, and noon to 10 p.m. July 29. Opening ceremonies will be at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at noon on Sunday.

A lineup of free entertainment in the ROCC Pavilion starts with Ramona Idol Quarterfinals at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, continues with Ramona Idol Semifinals the same time on Friday, and, if time permits, open karaoke from 10 to 11 p.m.
