Brush fire breaks out near Dulzura
A fire scorched 2-3 acres of brush today west of Dulzura Sunday afternoon, Cal Fire said.
The fire was reported about 2:15 p.m. halfway up a hill in the 14000 block of Otay Lakes Road, near Otay Mountain Truck Trail, according to Battalion Chief Nick Schuler of Cal Fire.
About 50 firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze and no structures were threatened, Schuler said.
