The revised list of County of San Diego road projects to be funded with Proposition 1B money includes $475,000 for the San Vicente Road drainage project.

A 5-0 San Diego County Board of Supervisors vote Jan. 25 adopted a resolution with the revised allocation for the Prop. 1B funding. The $41.3 million total covers $27.6 million of major projects, $11.7 million of maintenance projects, and $2 million for minor projects.

Prop. 1B, approved by the state’s voters in November 2006, provided $2 billion for California’s local streets and roads. The county received $10.4 million in 2008-09 and $31 million in 2009-10.

Resolutions containing the list of county projects to be funded were approved in December 2007, November 2008, May 2009 and October 2009.

The county currently has $5.95 million of 2008-09 funds, which must be expended by June 30, 2013, and $25.52 million of 2009-10 money, which must be spent by June 30, 2014.

The major projects also include $900,000 for curbs, gutters, and sidewalks throughout the county.
