Kiwanis schedules presentation from county tax collector Jan. 28

San Diego County Treasurer/Tax Collector Dan McAllister will be the guest speaker at the Kiwanis Club of Ramona breakfast meeting on Saturday, Jan. 28.

McAllister is expected to discuss subjects such as the local economy, an overview of the county tax base, a review of 2011 and expectations for the coming year. A question and answer session will follow his presentation.

“The public is welcome to join us and learn a little about what Kiwanis is,” said Bob Hailey, Ramona Kiwanis president.

Kiwanis of Ramona meets in Sizzler of Ramona 344 Main St. The meeting starts at 7 a.m. and McAllister’s presentation will begin at 8.
