Acupuncture, Oriental medicine among topics of Valley Club luncheon

Guest speaker Meggin Sullivan, ODM, L.Ac., will discuss integrative medicine, acupuncture and Oriental medicine when San Vicente Valley Club holds its first meeting and luncheon of the new year on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

The meeting will be at the San Vicente Golf Resort, 24157 San Vicente Road. Social time is 11 a.m., with call to order at 11:30, luncheon at noon and the program at 1 p.m. Cost is $12. All are welcome.

Sullivan will discuss the emerging practice of integrative medicine and her practice that integrates acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Also an herbalist, she will talk about the many ways the ancient art of Oriental medicine can bring health and healing to physical problems.

San Vicente Valley Club, a nonprofit organization, brings all residents of Ramona together for the social, philanthropic and civic betterment of the community with its contributions to student scholarships and the needs of the community.

Among the club’s other interest groups are Book Marks, Bridge Marathon, Lunch Bunch, Friends of the Ramona Library and Bunco.
