SR-78 accident closes traffic at Haverford Road and Ash Street

Eastbound traffic on state Route 78 is being diverted at Haverford Road and westbound traffic on SR-78 is closed at Ash Street as the result of a traffic accident involving a possible fatality on SR-78 just west of Ash Street, according to the California Highway Patrol website.

The accident, reported at 3:48 p.m., involved a motorcycle or scooter that flipped and struck a vehicle, according to the website.
