Ramblers Senior Travel Club plans spring trips

Ramona Ramblers Senior Travel Club, open to everyone age 50 and older, is preparing for spring trips. The deadline to register for two of the trips is Monday, March 5.

Upcoming trips include:

•Tuesday, March 20—Seaport Village

, shopping and lunch on your own. Cost per person is $30 for transportation and driver’s tip. Will leave Kmart parking lot behind Subway, 1853 Main St., at 9 a.m. and will return to the parking lot approximately 3 p.m. Register on or before March 5.

•Wednesday, April 25

—“Battle of the Dance” show in Anaheim. Minimum 31 persons, $78 per person. Price will be adjusted to $70 per person if 42 or more attend. Includes lunch of chicken or vegetable pasta. Will leave Kmart parking lot, behind Subway, at 9:30 a.m. and return to the parking lot approximately 4:30 p.m. Pay by March 5 Ramblers meeting in Ramona Senior Activity Center, 434 Aqua Lane.

•Wednesday, May 23

—4th Annual Lobster Lunch, 94th Aero Squadron, with a scenic drive after lunch over the Coronado Bridge, Silver Strand, South Bay and home. Cost is $70 per person. May bring a guest at a cost of $75 per person.

Meal:

two 6-ounce Maine lobster tails, tossed Caesar salad, rolls and butter, fresh vegetables and garlic potatoes. Dessert: New York Cheesecake with strawberry sauce, coffee, decaf, tea or one soda.

Returning to the parking lot approximately 6 p.m., maybe sooner. Reservations will be accepted no later than May 7.
