Chris Anderson takes helm as president of regional Realtors group for women

Ramona Realtor Chris Anderson, GRI, SFR, PMN, CRS, e-Pro of Town & Country Real Estate, was installed as the 2012 president of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® San Diego Chapter in a ceremony held in the Admiral Baker Club.

The San Diego Chapter is a 100-plus member professional real estate group affiliated with the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR), a national professional development organization with 19,000 members.

Anderson will serve a one-year term as president and will be responsible for presiding over the monthly meetings, coordinating speakers for the chapter’s business resource luncheons, social networking and working on membership development and growth.

She has been active in the San Diego Chapter for seven years and has held positions of technology guru and president-elect. She has been a Realtor for 23 years.

“Women’s Council of REALTORS is a fantastic group of professionals focused on the needs of women REALTOR® entrepreneurs at all stages of development,” said Anderson. “I look forward to providing our members with a dynamic, accessible and diverse network, linking resources and member expertise to drive business success.”

In December, the San Diego Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS participated in the SDAR Holiday House Charity, which collectively generated over $10,000 in donations for 11 charities throughout San Diego County.
